recipe for disaster, big city

recipe for disaster, big city
one very wrong turn
on one very wet night
one dark alley, dark and smelly
like overnight prawn paste
three big burly thugs shaking
one very frightened guy
oh poor you that bumped into the show
one hasty quiet retreat is
advised.

Discretion definitely the better!
The mood set by your well-chosen words are a testament to how random ill fate can be.
Rosemary,
😁
Thank you!
Penelope,
😃
Thank you. Ferlinghetti's poem is a great inspiration.
You got the mood perfectly set. But of course I want to know if he makes it out OK.
Thank you, Rommy!
I would like to say that he made it. 😁
I hope it was a good ending.
Thank you, Sara!

Thank you, Marja!
Super blog
Thank you, Rajani! :)
It reads like the beginning of a thriller. Just the right amount of tension, spookiness, and uncertainty.
