dark side of the moon part #4
I made a frog out of cockle shells glued together. It was a lovely thing, with two very dark eyes out of black beans. I painted its mouth blood red, and its body and head a livid green. I left it on its own to dry. A fly flew past it. I swear, the frog drooled.

I seem to have heard a faint ribbet ribbet! The teacher was quite right, I'm sure.
I believe you.Think I know why the teacher kept an eye on you:)
Teachers seem to know just exactly which kids to keep their eyes on. Love your frog!
I am certain that I saw the frog drooled, too. And trust me, bloody drool trickling down a cockle shell chin isn't something anyone forgets quickly. Cough.
This made me laugh! A delight of a poem.
That blood red mouth seemed to take itself quite seriously! Let's hope it sticks to thinking about insects.
The fly was like the opposite of a cherry on top!
Great drawing and had to laugh at your last line "A fly flew past it. I swear, the frog drooled."
