dark side of the moon

dark side of the moon
if the moon could turn its face
so that she might live
that fateful moment
again
she would have counted to ten,
even two would do, waited for that
fog of red mist to die off
like an echo
but now
with blood-stained hands
and chained
and dragged
to hell
knelt before King Yama
and what can she tell
the Infernal Judge
that she loved
the daughter
she killed?

This is an unpublished work that has been sitting in the PC for a long time. Wonder why.
“Mad Hatter: “Why is a raven like a writing-desk?”
“Have you guessed the riddle yet?” the Hatter said, turning to Alice again.
“No, I give it up,” Alice replied: “What’s the answer?”
“I haven’t the slightest idea,” said the Hatter”

Oh this is heartbreaking :( the things human beings resort to ...
it is. :(
The things one would do if going back to redo them were an option. Sigh.
Sadly, love can also have a dark side.
That's a beautiful but painful piece. I hope you and your family are well.
Good Grief!

Marja,
it's hard to look into a mind of a person.
