Day 23 : No chance to go back there for a holiday.
Day 24 : An American sentence.
Day 43 : Really nicked my finger preparing food.
Day 46 : Recently found from my old journals. Pretty appropriate now.
Day 51 : I was at a hospital for a scan when i wrote this.
Now that the lockdown is over, remember, places are opening because of the economy. Not because it is safe. Take care.

Love that you kept a journal ... great idea. #46 my favorite day. Cheers.
These are rather evocative glimpses into everyday life, Lee San! I especially relate to the nicked finger. Had a couple of incidences in the kitchen haha 💘
It seems unfair doesn't it when a crisis like this comes, poets like us revel in the opportunity to write even more!
Helen,
thank you!
it's just a journal for the duration of the lockdown.
#46 is an old work 'rescued' from old scraps of paper while doing spring cleaning during the lockdown. :)
Sanaa,
you too? :D
Robin,
It is. perhaps there is more time, more anger, more subjects to write about. :)
Awesome.. I did that too.. wrote for the first 54 days of the lockdown! Kind of kept it all real.
I much enjoyed these artful snippets. Will definitely have a look at the whole lot.
Thotpurge,
thank you!
yes, i read some of the posts. really impactful poetry. :)
Rosemary,
i know you won't be disappointed. :)
Ha ha, maybe you think I was referring to Rajani's 'Thotpurge' pieces. I dip in from time to time, and I think they are marvellous!
It's your own 'artful snippets' I meant in this instance, and that I'll be reading your whole lockdown diary (probably not all at once). And I do know I won't be disappointed!
Returning to it, I should say, as I already read some of the earlier entries.
i love your notes and if this was mine, i'd title it: notes of my quarantine time or something more creative. i love your creativity with your pics. great write!
Rosemary,
yes, Rajani wrote some very excellent pieces.
and you have already read some of the earlier entries.
some days i don't feel like writing, but i am glad i did. :)
Humblekind Poet,
Thank you!
yes, i too feel that the title wasn't too catchy enough. Thanks for the suggestion. :)
This is a wonderful idea! I think I was in denial at first (it'll just be a few weeks...) to do more than note in the margin of other stories what was going on. I love the one pulled from your notebook in the midst of the glimpses of the days.
Chrissa,
thank you!
the one pulled from the notebook. very appropriate, isn't it? :" ain't it good to be alive."
Bravo, good that you deceided to journal
Have a nice week
Much💖love
Thank you, Gillena!
have a nice week too! 😀
Excellent idea. A journal is such a good and practical way to keep a record of these unreal times. :-)
Greetings from London.
Thank you, Mario!
actually it's just a mix of random thoughts, but it helps. :)
How are you doing? Hope all well and safe with your family...
Great to see you, Ashok!
we are doing okay. Hope all's well and safe with you family too. :)
Whew! That "HERE" page looks spammy! "Your computer is infected with five viruses." How many of them did the scammers install, themselves?! I'm guessing you took down what was posted there and the scammers moved into an empty site?
Thank you, Priscilla.
I have checked the link on "HERE" and it goes to my other blog's URL. It did not go to any external link. I clicked on the link and it goes to all the posts with "circuit breaker shutdown" labels.
You have a "Your computer is infected with five viruses" prompt? That's strange because the links are all within Blogger.
