small miracles
Today I wish you small miracles
as you go about your waking day.
A blue sky, pure white clouds and green leaves sunlit.
A sparrow hopping in the shadow at the Buddha's feet.
The community cat meows back when you greet it.
The bus is not late, in the train someone offers you a seat.
Do not question if there are small miracles.
Expect them, waking up in the morning is one.

So true. Miracles don't have to be loud and splashy; they happen at every moment in quiet ways.
Yes these are some beautiful small miracles thanks
Ah yes! Sentiments after my own heart.
We forget to be grateful for waking up once more
What a wonderful world it would be if all of us contributed each day to other people's received small miracles...
Penelope,
Yes, they can happen in the mundane and ordinary. :)
Marja,
Thank you ! :)
Rosemary,
Thank you! :)
shaun,
we tend to take things for granted, don't we? :)
Nicholas,
That's a wonderful thought. :)
Good thoughts! I especially like "the community cat." So many cats aren't feral so much as they're not bound to a particular household.
Thank you, Priscilla.
Some of our "community cats" are really well looked after. There are kind residents who feed them, and clean up after their meals. The past laws do not allow cat ownership in public housing, but recently it has been changed to allow cat ownership with some restrictions.
Your wish is so sweet and genuine, it made my day I promise. We should be wishing these kinds of poetic wishes every day!!!
Thank you, Helen!
Indeed. Won't the world be a kinder and gentler place then? :)
Life, and all in it, is a miracle. Thank you.
Thank you, J Cosmo.
Yes, life itself is a miracle.
Miracles can be small and sweet. I love the quote you used.
Thank you, Sara!
Yeah, I think that's quite true about the quote. 😀
