One day on the way to lunch, I saw something on a road-divider that made me lost my appetite, or at least made me swore off meat for a while.

on a grassy road divider
half done jigsaw of a dog?
the flies and ants have left
the sun and rain
and exhaust fumes
moved in to clean after.

empty eye sockets stared
at headlights of cars.
