Haiga inspired by a video game
If you look beyond the gore, the bad language (the f*** word is in almost every line) and that you are playing the roles of 3 very psychopathic "heroes", it is a very good game. Perhaps you do not understand what I am talking? Never mind. Enjoy the haiga. ☮
haiga inspired by a video game
the flies have left
the blood has dried on the linoleum
thunderhead over rooftops -
my heart
heavy again.
the end
of another day.
a million murmurs
on the wind your name
shuffling feet
the night shift clocks in

What a unique idea... the images from a video game, and it's also an experience I think... the first one was especially strong I think
This is very interesting. I loved, "your name on the wind."
"I'm still alive, in case you're wondering."
Yup! I wasn't sure if DSNAKE1 was dead or he was in jail :-)
The Haiga(s) were outstanding with me completely de-void of your game's purpose, other than offering you inspiration.
They stand created and they stand alone.
Glad to see you on the street, Cheong :-)

I once knew a boy who was hooked on that game. i especially love "on the wind your name."
I like "
the end
of another day.
a million murmurs"
and know the game very well! Very creative!
A stunning post.. i loved each one :-)
I looked at them all. Totally brilliant!
Bjorn,
it was a interesting experience. i would be playing the game, cruising around, and snap some interesting scene/background and work the haiku around it.
glad you like the first one. i was afraid some might find it morbid. :)
annell,
this one was about loss and love. :)
ZQ,
glad to see you around!
nah, i was just super busy with work the last months, but i was still writing on & off (actually not much), and trying to work some poems for a competition.
so here i am, back on the streets. :)
Having a dark mind I quite liked "The flies have left, the blood has dried on the linoleum". It is good that you have time to blog as well as being addicted to the game!
Wow!!💞 I love the fact that your haiga were inspired by a video game and find it to be incredibly cool!! You inspire me😊
Sherry,
this game is controversial, but most games that have violence usually are. that's why they have ratings. games have helped me to destress. just don't let them get hold of you. :)
i like that haiga too. it's somewhat personal.
Bekkie,
ah, another fan of the game. :D
Jae,
thank you! :)
Rosemary,
thank you! :)
This is really impressive! A combination of poetic talent and art. I like your originality in these!
Robin,
:D
well, all work & no play makes dsnake a dull boy.
Sanaa,
:)
thanks!
Awesome poetry! My nephew designs video games. He once worked for Nintendo, but now he has his own company. He was one of the creators on the Cruisin' games..Cruisin' USA, World Cruisin', etc. He also worked on Mortal Combat.
Mary,
thank you! :)
Susie,
Cool! your nephew is a game designer. that needs the mind of an artist, storyteller and programmer. I have played Mortal Combat but i find it a tad too violent. :)
