unwashed mugs

There's a group of contract workers on a project at my workplace running and terminating wires. It's mostly menial work

At the end of the day, they would gather at their table in a hoist bay and have a cup of coffee and a smoke before going off. Always, their mugs were left unwashed.

This haiku is for them.

After a hard day

end of a hard day
a drink, a quick smoke, some jokes
let moonlight wash mugs

hi polona, thank you! :)

sometimes, i do empathise with those guys, they don't earn much, just living each day as it comes.
